Kokedama-Mossball-

I found a cute green during a walk the other day.
I have only a fake plant in my room, my friend advised me I should threw away it immediately because it makes my fortune turn down.

An old lady at the shop told me, it's very easy just immerse it in water for few minutes.
But I don't know when I should do that, and she answers unclear:
Give it a water when you think it feels thirsty.
She admires the beauty for plants, looks happy to talk about them.
And I enjoyed to have nice conversation with her for a while

I took one of them to my home.
I don't have a green thumb, but I'm enjoying to take care of my first mossball.

Still survive.

And pretty atmosphere with a candle:)

Having lunch at Shinjuku

I went out for a meeting around Shinjuku the other day, and got tired.
My friends at work and I needed to charge energy, and he took us his favorite Ramen restaurant at Shinjuku 2-chome where is famous for the biggest gay town in Tokyo.
I've not asked him the reason he is familiar with there.  >_<

They serve dipping noodle at this restaurant.
Another friend says she doesn't like it because noodle is getting cold not in hot soup.
(She always complains, any way)

We ordered standard dipping noodle with DX toppings that are fried chicken, fried bamboo shoots and fantastic simmered eggs. The soup I had make broth with chicken, also you can choose spicy one or teriyaki one.

Thick noodles like Udon with richly flavored soup made me happy at first.
In a short time, I was feeling regret ordering 200g noodles.
It was too much for women. But I've done completely.
I was feeling like no more ramen when I finished it.

On the way to the station, we had a coffee with rich cream.

After salty food, we want sweet something.

When we back to office, there was two big cakes on a table.

Because it was my birthday.

It was first time I can't eat any more!

My trip report 1 -Gifu-

I had three days off in a row last weekend and traveled to Gifu prefecture.
It was my first trip alone:)
Gifu prefecture is just center of Japan,it takes 5 and half hours to places I want to go by bus from Tokyo.

The reason I choose bus was because I didn't have much of money and it almost the same time to use fast train(Shin-kan-sen) as a bus.

1st day,I was supposed to get a bus I booked to Gifu at 6 am at Shinjuku station.
But I missed the bus because I got off wrong subway station and lost a way.
That was my biggest mistake in this trip.
Shinjuku is the most crowded city in Tokyo.
There are too many people and high buildings, all of them always make me confused.
I got off a station with name of "West Shinjuku station".Actually the station I had to get off was "Shinjuku station" and then go to west exit of the station.
I walked between these areas and lost my way..
The town is very fun at night though,it's incredibly messy area.
A lot of garbage were everywhere and big black crows were flying above my head...
Some of them were eating garbage, even there were few dead bieds by them....
I was thinking to give up this trip and go to Korean sauna near here.

A fashion school in Shinjuku

Finally, the time was already 7:30 I could arrived a bus center.
I could book next bus leaving at 9:00XD

However a massive traffic jam already started.
It takes 5 and half hour usually though,I was in a bus for 8 hours.
Fourtunately,that was a girl next me.I was glad.But I'm not a pervert.

Sorry this artcle is long and I'm too excited even though the trip isn't still start.
If you don't have things to do,please read next one.(I'll update soon....)
I promise to show you beautiful pictures.

Thank you for reading:))
See you soon//

Sauna spa @ Shinjuku

Probably this article is not interesting for men.
Today,I went to sauna in Shinjuku(actually it's in Shin-Okubo)
Recently I'm into Korean sauna;)Last month,I went the same place with my best friend.
We spent 4 hours to take bath, sauna, eat Korean lunch and rest in great terrace.

I was looking forward to go there since yesterday,I arrived the entrance too early.
The sauna's web site says they open for 24 hours.
But they seem to have cleaning time while 8:00-11:00 am.I didn't know that*o*
I wanted to take a bath immediately because I didn't wash my hair last night!

Anyway, when I took bathes and saunas,I felt like to be in heaven:)))))
In this sauna I went, there are 2 bathes and 4 kinds of saunas.
They are hot sauna, steam, herb and rock.

I love the herb sauna which is only 60℃.

I read a book inside there and then I slept for 50 minutes without thinking.
My body was full of sweat when I woke up.But I didn't see nightmare.
I don't remember that detail though,it was happy dream because Leonardo DiCaprio in his young days appeared in my dream;)

I was surprised when I saw a woman inside there read a book last time. This time,I tried to do that and it was fine.
Also I was shocked to see a woman use cell-phone inside there!!!
Is that okay for machine???
I didn't try to do that.I think I can't touch my iPhone because my hands got wetting.

I took sauna bath again and again, after that I rested in terrace.
Of course,I was wearing sauna cloth even though that was soaking wet:/
The wind on 8th floor was very comfortable.

4 hours had quickly passed, and then I went to Shinjuku city.
Way to a department,I was in famous "host club" town, called "Kabuki cho".
Nevertheless day time, there were many young men in front of the entrances.
But nobody talked to me.Why?
They might think I didn't have enough money.....Or the time was not open yet.

I wanted manicure and went to big department which was full of people.
I gave up to find my favorite shop..
Finally I could buy it in Ginza and have a seat in cafe I often come.

Shinjuku is too big and crowded, the town always makes me tired.
I wish the Korean sauna would open near my house sometime soon..

Thank you for reading:)

Have a nice weekend//

My friend came to Japan part 2

The 2nd day,
I took a day off and I showed my friend around Tokyo at my first time.
Actually,I didn't know what should I show her...
But it was no problem. The weather was super sunny!
We left my apartment at 9:00 in the morning:)

At first,we were thinking go to Korean town, caled Shin-Okubo.
This blog is "The JPN Journal"....But both she and I like Korea very much;)
Way to the town,we got off "Iidabashi",because there is a nice cafe.
Along the Kanda river, there are a lot of beautiful cherry trees and all of them were full of bloom.
But the time was too early.Unfortunately, the cafe opens at 11:30.

We gave up the cafe, then we went to Shin-Okubo.
And we ate  Samgyeopsal. It's popular Korean dish which is baked pork with kimuchi and vegetables.

Recently Korean entertament is very popular in Japan.
I prefer Korean food:)haha

In the afternoon,,,,we had hanami in Shinjuku-Gyoen.We could walk between Shin-Okubo and the park through Shinjuku city.

There aren't many people because it was weekday and day time.

We bought beer in convinience store and tried to bring the park. But we couldn't drink alcohol inside there for the park's rule:((((    Then we gave up.
We gave up the cafe in the morning and drinking beer....Am I really guide in Tokyo!?
Any way, there are some nice place to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo.

If you want to drink under the trees,,,,you should go to Ueno park(it's my favorite)

Or if you are okay only soft drinks,,,you can go to Shinjuku Gyoen.(200yen to enter the park)

Or if you JUST want to see cherry trees,,,,you will go to Chidori ga huchi.

And then,we went to Asakusa.
Way to Sensouji, there are a lot of small stores sold traditional Japanese stuffs.

We ate something all day,but we got hungry.
When in restaurant,it's difficult to read Japanses menu. Some reastaurants, they have food sample in front of the entrance.
You can choose dish you want to eat in such a reautrant;)

That night,I ate Hire katsu(fried pork). The reasutaurant we went was for tourists, but the food was really dericious!!!
When you eat there, you can feel this is real Japanese food.

After having a dinner,we went back to my apartment.
I walked a lot the day!!
We talked and drunk again until the late,,,I really didn't want to go to work the next day><
It was nice and fun day for me:))))

see you///

Brasserie gus@Kagurazaka

This is the greatest restaurant in 2011!!

Recently I'm into bistro(casual french cuisine). There are many such kind of  restaurants in Kagurazaka.
It's close to Shinjyuku.
There are many French people living. So it's famous for french cuisine.

I recommend meat meal.like terrine.
And you eat all and get enough though, you should taste dessert.

I promise you would have nice time there:)
