Yakitori bar

These days,I'm pretty busy.

I said some friends to tell my favorite Yakitori bar before though,I couldn't enough time to write about it.

This time,I'm able to show you it.I am so happy:)

By the way,do you often eat chicken?
I prefer chicken than beaf and pork.I've tried to cook Yakitori by myself.
I thought it was just bake chicken how to cook it.
But that was wrong idea.
Then I really want you to come this bar and taste real and wonderful Japanese Yakitori by yourself someday;)

First of all,it's not easy to find the Yakitori bar.

You can go there in few minutes from Ginza st. on metro lines,or Yurakucho st. on JR lines.

Look at this map,then you think it looks easy to reach the bar?

But there are a lot of smal bars around the Yakitori bar.

This is the bar's sign.The name is "Ne no hi".I have no idea of the meaning.

Inside,there are about 30 seats in narrow space.My favorite place is outside.Here1↓

Until 8:00,there are full of people.


I took a photo of menu.It is written by only Japanese,so I try to explain it.

You should order,Negima(leg with green onion),Ponjiri(hip) and Tebasaki(wing)

And "Motsuni",it's like Italian dish tripe.That's great,you must like it;)

After ordering drinks,a staff bring small dish.That is only cabbage with bean paste.

You eat it while thinking about what you want to eat next.

When you order Yakitori,the staff always ask you:

・Which do you like with salt or with sauce?

 The sause is sweet a bit.I always order "salt" because chicken is very good in this bar without any sauce.

In Japanese:

Staff:Shio to Tare doushimasuka? / Shio to tare wa?

You:Shio de.

You just say,"shio de".It's very easy to say:)

This was taken when I went there last time.

Ummmm....I want to eat them again soon!

My friend came to Japan part 2

The 2nd day,

I took a day off and I showed my friend around Tokyo at my first time.

Actually,I didn't know what should I show her...

But it was no problem.The weather was super sunny!

We left my apartment at 9:00 in the morning:) 

At first,we were thinking go to Korean town,caled Shin-Okubo.

This blog is "The JPN Journal"....But both she and I like Korea very much;)

Way to the town,we got off "Iidabashi",because there is a nice cafe.

Along the Kanda river,there are a lot of beautiful cherry trees and all of them were full of bloom.

But the time was too early.Unfortunately,the cafe opens at 11:30.

We gave up the cafe,then we went to Shin-Okubo.

And we ate  Samgyeopsal.It's popular Korean dish which is baked pork with kimuchi and vegetables.

Recently Korean entertament is very popular in Japan.

I prefer Korean food:)haha

In the afternoon,,,,we had hanami in Shinjuku-Gyoen.We could walk between Shin-Okubo and the park through Shinjuku city.

There aren't many people because it was weekday and day time.

We bought beer in convinience store and tried to bring the park.But we couldn't drink alcohol inside there for the park's rule:((((    Then we gave up.

We gave up the cafe in the morning and drinking beer....Am I really guide in Tokyo!?

Any way,there are some nice place to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo.

If you want to drink under the trees,,,,you should go to Ueno park(it's my favorite)

Or if you are okay only soft drinks,,,you can go to Shinjuku Gyoen.(200yen to enter the park)

Or if you JUST want to see cherry trees,,,,you will go to Chidori ga huchi.

And then,we went to Asakusa.

Way to Sensouji,there are a lot of small stores sold traditional Japanese stuffs.

We ate something all day,but we got hungry.

When in restaurant,it's difficult to read Japanses menu.Some reastaurants,they have food sample in front of the entrance.

You can choose dish you want to eat in such a reautrant;)

That night,I ate Hire katsu(fried pork).The reasutaurant we went was for tourists,but the food was really dericious!!!

When you eat there,you can feel this is real Japanese food.

After having a dinner,we went back to my apartment.

I walked a lot the day!!

We talked and drunk again until the late,,,I really didn't want to go to work the next day><

It was nice and fun day for me:))))

My friend came to Japan part 1

My friend alreay has gone back to her home.
Last week,I spent fun time with her,and I could show her around Tokyo.
The first night,I tried to meet her at Tokyo st. after work.
I was really worried whatever we could meet there without any problems,because there were a lot of people at that time.
I went to platfall of Shinkan sen,then we could meet:)


Soon after I met her,I took her to my favorite Yakitori resutaurant.
The restaurant is in Yurakucho,it's next to the Tokyo st.We got the train only one station on Yamanote line.
Usually I walk between these town.

This restaurant's menu is written by only Japanese.I'll tell you the detail in another article^_^
We could have seats on my favorite place outside.
Inside this restaurant,there are not much of space.That's so Japan,but I don't like it..haha
But if you want to experince it,you should try to eat inside.
We could spend very fun night.
The next day,I showed her around Tokyo!It was my first time to be a guide,so I was so excited!!
